Beryl McCartney is a watercolorist and illustrator who took up yoga at the age of 72. She started to paint her Teddy Mac bears around fifteen years ago to amuse her three grandsons. Beryl is painting her way through a series of yogasanas, with Sarah (her daughter, a writer who also teaches yoga) as technical adviser to make sure that the skilful Teds demonstrate beautiful postures, despite their chubby figures.
