Residential yoga courses are held throughout the British Isles and in Greece in the winter months. All are held in quiet country houses with sea or country views. They are carefully chosen for their ambiance which is conducive to yoga. Some have swimming pools and all serve excellent cuisine. Request single rooms early please. More details 2 - 3 October: Asthall Manor, Asthall, Nr Burford, Oxon Two days of yoga in the beautiful village of Asthall, near Burford, with Ruth and Jane Macpherson (non residential, but B+B accommodation can be booked at Lane House Farm). Jane Earnshaw, our guest teacher, will be giving a pilates class on Sunday. More details 9 - 10 October 2010: Colet House, Hammersmith, London Two days (non residential). Come to either or both. These days count towards teacher training but are open to all students from beginners to advanced. This lovely venue is home to the Study Society, and despite being in London, provides a peaceful haven. The Top studio is spacious, light and airy, with a quiet ambience just right for the practice of yoga. Guest speaker to be confirmed. Easy access by tube. More details 25 - 30 November 2010: Aura Soma, Dev Aura, Lincolnshire The venue is delightful, set in a picturesque village of Lincolnshire, Dev Aura used to be a rectory. Herbs are grown for their healing oils, and food is grown bio-dynamically for the table. This magical place has a special energy about it, most conducive to yoga, All abilities welcome. More details 13 January - 3 February 2011: Yoga at Hill View Beach Resort, Varkala, India Ruth and John White will be leading this special Indian yoga and ayurveda holiday to Hill View Beach Resort, Varkala, India. All levels of ability are welcome and catered for, from teachers in training to beginners. Non-yoga participants are very welcome too.
