Poetry, song and dance still play an important role in Greek life today. ![]() ![]() ![]() Molyvos Molyvos, Mithimna in the old Greek, is architecturally protected due to its historical importance as an ancient seaport - dating from before the fall of Troy - and the magnificent Venetian castle that sits above. A walk through the Agora (market) - roofed by flowerarcades - down to the picturesque port, is an expedition through the eventful history of the island. But Molyvos is not only about the past. Evening meal is not included, but local tavernas offer dinner for about £7.00 including wine. Lunch and dinner on Thursdays is included.
