We aim top promote ethical trading through our suppliers and to our customers. We aim to give our customers good service and fair trading, whether it is handling product queries, locating yoga courses, handling customer returns, or help in gemeral. we encourage our suppliers to behave fairly to its employees and contractors. We also participate in charity activities locally and support a charity based in Nepal.

Suppliers

• We aim to use Ethical suppliers who pay fair wages and treat their staff fairly
• Outside Europe we encourage suppliers who have OHSAS - 18001 Occupational Health and Safety certification. They work to the international Rules & Law for Quality & Safety. The main concept of this certificate is No Child Labour, No Forced Labour, Non Discrimination, Freedom of Association, Harassment or Abuse, Health & Safety, Wages & Benefits, Hours of Work and Overtime, Environmental Responsibility and production of Quality products

Charity Support

• We support the Seeing Hands Nepal Charity. For every Premier Yoga Mat purchased, 10% of the price is donated to the charity. Click here for more details on Seeing Hands Nepal. This small charity has built a training school for blind people to train them in remedial massage techniques. In Nepal, at least 3 in every 100 people are either blind or visually impaired. Every five seconds a person goes blind in Nepal.
• We support the annual MacMillan Cancer Relief fundraising day run by local yoga teachers in the Newbury area. It is aimed at all levels of yoga experience. Contact Jane Hedge 01635 521243 about this year's event, or email Jane
• Directors Maria and Emma West both work with the Basingstoke Scouts Gang Show. In the past they have mananged the website, assisted in backstage support and currently work on the programme production. In 2007 they both worked on the 100th Anniversary of Scouting show "Live07" programme design. The show was held at the O2 Arena in London.
